What is the V-crown guard and WHERE to get it?

those who know please chime in... I am relatively new to the panerai arena....

The V crown guard was an G-current series rep crown guard that a member of the community, V, produced... there was one run of them and they can only be found in the aftermarket.... currently, they go for between $200-350 depending on condition and aftermarket work/finishing... they sold originally for $200 each...

They are the best option for an G and new Panerai rep.... other than a gen CG of course... not perfect but very, very close...

They only fit the standard rep and newer DSN cases... they will not fit the older DSN cases....

To find one, you will have to put out a WTB or wait for a member sales ad...

THose looks good and with the curve historic shape... I wonder how our rep makers cannot make this right.. can't be that difficult right?

Well... I have seen a rep one in person.... so, they will come along at some point... but they do not have the same quality of build as the V CG...the lever and lever pin tolerances were very good....
