Hi,

What is the most black classic Panerai case ?
No Radiomir. No 1950 style case. No Subs.

I am thinking to buy a black PAM to add to my collection, was thinking of PAM 028 before, but seeing as in various pic, I kinda think this model was not so black, kinda like dark grey or something like that.

What do you guys think ?

Be advised that the latest PAM026K from Noob (V3) is still not black but rather a dark pencil lead, which is the closest to gen color. Not sure if you're after just the black color or accuracy.

PAM 360 V1 was the most black case.

I have a PAM 318 DLC (PAM 318L H factory dial, hands, cb and movement + PAM 360 V1 Case, crown and CG) and it's totally black. not grey.

Anyone knows about DSN's PAM 028 ??

Checking the PAM Review Guide would reveal that the PAM028 from DSNs catalog is considered a first class rep. It is a very good replica with a working Soprod modified ETA movement, same as gen.

i received a 026k from Toro last week. Isn't quite the pencil grey mentioned by others, but deffo not black black [if you get my meaning!!] The flash makes it look a lot lighter than in the flesh.

I knew. What I am asking is the blackness of this dsn 028.
This model is on my wish list, but seeing from some pics I saw, I am still unsure it's real black.

I am also looking for a black luminor and the 26k would be perfect if it wasnt for left handed, I have owned a left handed Pam 123
and hated the feeling of having the crown up or to wear it on the right arm.
Are they any similar ones right handed and without the logo?

If the 360 v1.1 had been in coated aluminum it would have been a great option.

I think what Doud meant was PVD/DLC coated aluminum. However, the gen 360 is PVD coated stainless steel.

No sorry I was actually thinking of the PAM 386 but I have been processing so much info about black and dark pams these days I got confused.
The 386 v1.1 is great but the fact it is so much heavier than the gen (Carbon Composite) would bother me and the PVD coated alumium rep version
(approx correct weight to gen) is far too purple from what i understood.

The Pam 360 is a bit too grey, I am really looking for a black or close to black one. Plus I saw gens go for around 20k these days so hard to pull off...

If the 26k wasnt for right handed, it would be exactly what i want, is there any model close to that?

Thank you

I dont think the 386 would be close enough to gen.
Have you consider dsn 028 ?

Yes I considered it but I really dislike the cyclops, also, I have never seen it in real life but it seems a lot lighter (more grayish) than the 026 no?
