What is James Cameron's diving watch ?

In this picture, director James Cameron prepares to submerge in his 2-ton, lime-green sub, seven miles beneath the ocean surface in the Mariana trench . In the pic , he is wearing what appears to be either a SD or DSSD . I think its probably a DSSD ? What do you guys think ?

Saw that from another website, he has an experimental Rolex Deepsea challenge watch attached to his sub. The one he's wearing looks like a dssd.

i dont think its a DSSD, he seems to have small wrists and in the following picture the watch hes wearing doesnt appear to be as chunky as a DSSD would be..

Looks like a normal sub-c, but I'm not 100% from those pics.

He usually wears a Submariner... I was gonna post that pic too because you can see the Deepsea attached to the arm on the submarine...

Yeah maybe something close to a Sub C ? Not as thick or chunky as a DSSD .

Looks like he switched to a sub c. Most pics I've seen of him he's wearing a basic sub.

I say Sub-C because in the videos it looks like a Deep Sea but in the closer pics it's not thick enough to be a DSSD.

That's the watch that is attached to the outside of the sub. Look around at the pic in the OP and you'll spot it.

Heck it would weigh 3 pounds if they made a rep of it! I guess it would be cool for a "show & tell" piece for the watchbox though.
