They merged with a much larger rep factory. Whether or not this is going to be a good thing is yet to be determined.

Any hints on when the new stuff will be coning down the pipe?

Below tex was published by Puretime's owner Angus in RepGeek on 21 Sept 2015:

"Not sure if you have known already. Mr. Creme De La Creme (a.k.a. The Noob Maker) had 2 secret partners joined them since 15th September.

Some of you might have noticed as you cannot order noob watches from 11th Sept to 14th Sept as they were doing the audit.

Everything will remain the same after the amalgamation except now they are even BIGGER and they are going to (again) actively involved in the rep watch industry.

I think it is a good news to us, and also PureTime will continue to be the strategic partner of them and will collect valuable info from rep watch forums to recommend them to upgrade their current productions and to find new models can be repped.

So hopefully I can have time to actively back to the forum to collect such info from you guys.

FIY. The new partners are HUGE, we do not know them too well because they made mid-low quality reps in the past but in HUGE quantity (their warehouse is 20x bigger than the Noob), now they partner with Noob and provide all the resources and finance to help the Noob maker to upgrade the rep game to another level which they already did for a few times."

Guys, living in China for many many years I can tell you what's gonna happen. Big guys want to use Noob's name and produce mid quality watches in bulk. Economics here is going down gradually, Noob wants to get new sale channels, bug guys want to get a brand 'Noob', but believe me quality will suffer considerably, it's almost impossible to keep the same quality in bulk mid range production by only upgrading some equipment. It should be a whole new production cycle. I'm pretty sure we will see quality issues with upgraded Noobs soon.

OK
This is just your opinion
But there are fortunately another possible future and even really good.
Even it is not incompatible to make a good quality line and another mid quality one

I know what and who and for the 100th time in the past couple of weeks there is no need to worry, Noob is in good hands.
Now, stop speculating with no facts in your possession you lot! :p

I don't know anything about the specifics of this case (I don't know the owners of the companies), but economic theory would say to use two different brands then (think Audi vs. Volkswagen vs. Skoda), since having lower quality products associated to a high-end brand ("Noob" in this case) would destroy the value of this brand.

Ford and Jaguar -- Ford brought up the quality of Jaguar.

Ferrari and Fiat Chrysler -- Luckily it hasn't seemed to hurt Ferrari's image.

speculation overload.
If noob goes down the gurgler quality-wise, it will become apparent VERY quickly on the forums, surely, as WE are the market?

Correct. Same economic group, with two different brands targeting different segments/price points.
Hence, it doesn't make a lot of sense to brand low quality reps with a "Noob" brand.
