What ETA movement to buy for direct swap into a FF?

I have a noob v1 Fifty Fathoms and want to put a genuine Swiss eta in it since it’s a keeper and the current movement is fudged up for the second or third time.

Here’s what’s in it currently.

The last time I had it repaired, the rep rotor and screw were broken so my watch smith replaced them.

Anyway, I want to source my own ETA but not sure exactly what movement I need for a direct swap. Can anyone help me out? What ETA movement will work? I hate to buy the wrong one and my smith said to source the movement and send it in.

It looks like either a 2824 or 2836, they look the same from the back. Can you pull the movement and post a pic of the dial side of the movement to know for sure.

No because that’s beyond my ability lol
I’m sending this to a watch smith for the swap and he told me to source the correct movement and I have no idea what that is.

When the movement was working did the date change instantly or slowly.

Instant date change= 2836

Gradual date change = 2824

Just advance the time via the crown. If you see the date starting to move before midnight then its a 2824, instant flip is 2836 (which is what should be in there).

It starts to change at 23:30 and finishes the swap at 01:15
