What does M, K, N, series mean?

In some reviews I find different letters marking the series but cannot find the abbreviations for these marks. Can someone clarify this please?

Letters follows years. 111h will have a serial # like h0234/2500

Google for years but the letters are chronological.

Aha, date indicators. So there is no quality difference beween different letters, correct?

Some times for reps, there is a difference as the later the letter (say O vs M), it might mean a later (ie, newer and improved) version. Need to review the particulars for each watch

Reps in h serial were the real starting point into super Panerai replicas. They all had serial number h0035/2500.

Now pretty much all panerai reps are individually numbered.
