what do you think of this strap for an UPO. NEW PHOTOS ADDED

This is a strap I have order to a strapmaker here in Spain.
I had the idea of using the rubber strap buckel and to make the leather strap like the rubber one.
The leather used for making the straps comes from some baseball gloves I bought on ebay and sent it to the strapmaker.
The photos are not of great quality but I think they are good to make an idea.


And now the photos. The strap seems to be blue but the color is black. Tomorrow I will try to take better photos and I will change them.

What do you think about the straps????

Not my cup of tea, but I am very traditional. The question is, what do you think of it? It is distinctive, that is for sure. If you enjoy wearing it, you should do just that. :wink:

the idea of the strap was mine, I bought some baseball gloves and sent them to a spanish strapmaker.
In the next days I will make photos with the other strap.

Looks good to me... Maybe the orange stitching can be made a little lighter to match the bezel orange. It looks unique.

I really like it (the dark one)
the Tan strap might look better with a black PO, with black stitching? I dunno...

but to me, they're better than the rep leather & orange, which seems too thin.

and more suitable than the orange croc - which is quite frankly, gross

I agree with previous replies - the black with orange stitching looks great (much better than the other, IMO). I'd like to see it on a PAM, actually. And I'm not even a big fan of PAMs! Anyway.... very cool 8)
