Have any of you gotten anything from ioffer? They have tons of Panerai's... Are they good or worse... than the RWI Dealers?

You will find great deals every once in a while.... T4D, a dealer on here, once had some Panerai power reserve models for a great price before he was a dealer here...

The problem with ioffer is, you're taking on more risk in the buying process... I have done it, but I had a lot of anxiety until i received the package...

So, it's a mixed bag.... if you feel lucky then go for it.... but on 95% of the stuff on there, you can find it from one of the trusted dealers for pretty much the same price and not have as much anxiety...

I bought one from a guy on ioffer, a daylight back in gosh '05, found out that he was local and met him midway and got it from him.
It quit working in a few weeks, contacted him, he immediately told me to come by his house and get a different one.
He must have had 350 watches of all different kinds in his office.
I was in awe. Needless to say, he apparently works for an airline and brings them back and forth all the time.
No customs, no crap.

It's a crapshoot on there. You can find some good stuff but it's not worth the effort.

Well like everyone has pointed out you'll sh** bricks while you wait to see if your purchase is what you supposedly purchased, that's why it's better to buy from the dealers here and once you're knowledgeable enough tread into the murky waters iOffer has... as for me, the only time I have bought a watch on iOffer was an ETA Titanium Ingenieur for $109 shipped yes, $109! After waiting 4 months I finally got it, opened the caseback to reveal an ETA movement, and it's Titanium not SS... I was shocked [in a good way].... but don't think this will happen to you, I was lucky enough to deal with a guy in the US who just wanted to get rid of a rep he didn't want, a good honest dealer, wanna read the bad part? He had recently sold an ETA PAM [I think it was a 177] for $100... one day too late! Argh! Now his account is closed. Honest guys like him are very, VERY rare. So be very careful on iOffer.

You need to read the feedback closely Ioffer allow transfer of feedback so someone with a 1000+ from another site could have got them from seling $0.1 e books etc so unless they have specifically feedback from ioffer ignore it. The transactions are all transparent so you can actually get a very good idea of who you deal with . Incidently we are around 30% cheaper with prices on the forum to our prices on ioffer because we have no fees here and the members are more trust worthy than some of the buyers on ioffer

I peeked around there quite a bit but luckily before I pulled the trigger and found this place. I ended up getting my first order and very positive transaction with Time4Direct.
