What do I need to swap 299N SS bracelet to rubber / croc?

I just got my 299N today from Perfect Clones (super-fast no hassle delivery right to my office)

I also bought the rep Pam rubber strap from PC and from a forum member I bought a Watch Boys croc (very nice) w/ a seperate deployment.

I don't any watch tools (but have some on oder) and need to know what is required to swap the bracelet for the strap(s)

I have watched the videos in the sticky section (straps / bands / bracelets) but it does not tell me if when I removet he SS band if I can use the rod that connects it to the lugs on the other straps or if I need parts?

Use a tooth pick cut in two halves, use one half to depress the release button then use the other half to push the lug bar out. Its very simple but make sure you depress the button when reinstalling or you might risk damaging the release mechanism.

I did it!

It's super-easy. What a nice system they have there.

I hit a home run with the 299. The SS bracelet that I thought would be too big and clunky for my 7" wrist fits beautifully and the rep rubber band is also a perfect fit (I wish it had one more "keeper" though because I had to move the single one from it's 2 "stays" to further up the tapered strap to keep it flopping ariound as I have it attached on the hole 3rd closest to the case (4 holes holes "up") Hope I can find one as it would complete the look.

Since I did this at work I don't have the croc strap here. I went into the board room and closed the door and worked on the watch and I am super-pleased with the 299N.

Once I get home I will take pics of all 3 bands and post a review. Tell ya' now it is gonna; be VERY favorable!

TEASER: I am much happier with this piece than I am with a Rolex rep I got last week. And, at $481 all in on my Visa (exchange and shipping) this Pam rep cost me over $200 LESS and blew me away!

Never having owned a gen Pam perhaps I am less critical than I was of the Rolex rep (I wear a gen daily and have owned 3)

The look and feel is awesome and anyone thinking about a Pam who likes the idea of being able to bounce from SS bracelet to a rubber / leather / exotic band in 5 minutes should grab a 299N from Josh at PC immediatley.

Oh yeah, the watch arrived at my desk (here in Canada) hassle-free / delay free 12 days after I ordered it.
