Well I have come to the conclusion my watch box needs a breitling. Currently I only have 3 watches a pam 111h, a rolex black ss sub and a fakey pvd gmt. I noticed there is a lot of black face watches. So what color would you all get? White or blue? I was leaning towards a white because it would go with more.

What color would you all pick? And why?

White is definitely a great choice! I have a genuine Seamaster Pro with a white dial otherwise my Steelfish would be white for sure!
I got blue though, and do love it for the variety apart from my black and white faced watches.

For me, I think the blue is absolutely gorgeous - here are a couple shots of mine;

I say go for the white. That will be my 3rd watch choice after my Skyland arrives and I purchase a Tag rep.

I figure I may as well add to this. When the SFSO rep debuted about 2 years ago, it was billed as the most accurate rep to date... so you are making a solid choice with the SFSO. Now for a few comments about the colors, why I went for the Blue almost 2 years ago, and what I would choose today after so, so many reviews have been made on this rep classic. 2 years ago I went with the Blue because, at the time, the rep SFSO just came out and not as many reviews existed truely comparing all colors with the gens. It is common for the factories to invest in the purchase of a gen, reverse engineer the styling/dimensions, and produce their reps. Most "super-reps" such as the SFSO have gone through this process. Now onto how this impacts color selection... the factories usually will not spring for all colors, so they usually choose a gen with the most difficult color to duplicate from a photo, which is usually Blue. Since the most accurate rep is important to me, plus the fact that I did not have a Blue dial in my box, I chose Blue at the time. Although I do not regret this decision at all, if making the choice today I would be torn between the SFSO White or Blue. I just favor the SFSO White or Blue over the Black, although the SFSO Black is the sportiest of three. Today, two years into the market, there are countless reviews of all colors regarding accuracy to the gens. So all three would be a good choice. I think it comes down to a matter of functional use and taste to narrow down the choice...

White: Dressy and a beautiful, a little less sporty.
Blue: 2nd best Blue dial in my box to my SO Heritage 46 from Silix. Pretty much the standard color for the SFSO.
Black: Sportiest version of this watch.

At this moment, my vote would probably be White. So there's my 2 cents. One thing for sure, if you are to have one Breitling in your box, the SFSO is the solid choice.

The color selection depends on the strap choice of yours (other than the SS bracelet)

Although I personally like the White also, the strap color is limited to Brown calf.
Black color can go with more colors, but then there are way too many watches with black dials.
Blue is very good color, and the blue rubber strap with blue dial is just beautiful.

black, it looks it has more attitude (based on pictures).i definitely love the dark side. i have seen a gen white too plain for me.i guess if your goin for the gentlemen look, white one is the choice.

does the blue sfso has the same hue as the blue soh? (darker, lighter)

My experience on this subject was as follows:

First I asked Angus a Steelfish in blue, but after making the payment he indicated to me that only in was avaliable in black (fault of mine, ask before!!).
At the end I'm wearing the watch with the black rubber strap, which, due to the high weight of armis, is much better.

My advice is: buy the Steelfish in black and dress it with the rubber strap.

Regards,
