What color is the AR on the AR coated PAM reps?

I was in a Panerai AD recently and didn't notice any blueish tint on the gen crystals. What color is the Panerai AR supposed to be? Is the AR coating on the so-called "best" or "ultimate" reps blue or close to the gen?
Thanks.

Ahhh the biggest tell even after all the mods

gen pam ar is subtle and yellowish in tint

all reps to my knowledge, ultimate, modded, otherwise are bluish in tint.

i don't know if you could get someone to ar a crystal for you with yellow ar, that would solve a lot for these watches

or just get a watch that had no ar in the gen

My I series PAM210 had a bluish tint to reflected light, but it was VERY subtle. I agree with Jurgenk, with as ineffective as the AR is on gen PAMs (at least the Historics that I've seen/owned), no AR is less of a tell than the standard, really blue rep AR.

thanks hooligan-- i had heard of some blue ar before on some recent series, but it had not been confirmed...
my 048j has yellow which requires super vision to see any hint of.
at the AD i've always asked as i've strained to see any hint of glare reduction, and the sales ppl always insist, definitely!

emperor's new clothes if ya ask me...

So no AR is less of a tell than blue AR...? I noticed the slight yellow tint on the gen but if you don't stare at it under certain angles it doesn't look like there's any AR.

I remember Jakub saying that he could achieve the yellowish AR on his service... has anyone give it a try or seen the results?

In my opinion, absolutely.

The AR on gen PAMs is pretty ineffective anyway. No where near the double AR'd Breits, Omegas, et al.

The AR on my DSN 010D is very subtle and just slightly blue. Pretty accurate, IMO, but I've seen other DSN crystals that are quite blue. It's a tell that can be spotted from across the room in some cases. (Not that anyone, except a rep freak, would ever notice.)

Honestly, we obsess about these tiny details when 99% of the people don't even know what a Panerai is...

Hi all

Got my 'ultimate' 111h from DSN almost a year ago, AR has a blue-is tint.

Still looks good though :D
