what breitling is this?

My friend got this watch a while back, and he claims he doesnt remember what the name of it was. He says its a gen, but I cant find anything on the internet that looks like this watch. It kind of resembles a BCE, but the date is in the wrong position, amongst some other differences. I am wondering if any of you guys know if this is a gen, what model it is, of if its a rep.

The subdials dont look like anything ive seen, and the date is in a wierd place, but it does have a good AR. Could this be an older Gen breitling? Bc my friends claims its Real until hes blue in the face, but i just dont really believe him. Just trying to get a second opionion from some of you watch gurus out there

My guess is that the bracelet links are fastened by pins, not screws like on real breits.
