I remember the first time I heard this song- 1994 - I was 14. A friend made a jimi tape for me (I knew nothing about him) and this song closed off side b. It was unlike anything I’d ever heard, even unlike the rest of the tape to me- I was listening to a Walkman in 90s Seattle and this song just fell on top of me it was so good- and the tape ran out before the damn song finished
