Weird Blue strap with PAM616

Does anyone know anything about the Weird Blue strap that VSF ship with the 616?. Did or does Panerai do a strap like that in actuality?. Just cant figure out why they would ship it with it if a gen one didn't exist?

No it’s not GEN spec, it’s just a marketing ploy from ZF! The strap is junk.

They added an extra strap because you know, people like free stuff. It adds to the perceived value of the watch more than the actual cost of the strap itself.
