date/day alignment looks good based on the picture... It's quite funny why they don't make it in Ti. If it's in Ti, I may consider one. Sadly not...

Since it's on sale (on other forums since I don't have the post count here, might try to change that tonight) decided to wear this one today for maybe (hopefully) the last time. This AMG titanium ingy has been one of my first rep, but moving to pams lately.

@FM : indeed, the Oris is a very special watch. You like it or hate it.
Regarding gravity, here's a comment I'll add in my future mini-review (I say mini because it's difficult to do something after SD4K)
It is heavy indeed, and the balance of the thing on your wrist is not that good : after a while I would even say that some might feel uncomfortable. The head is too heavy compared to the light strap. And if you don't want to have a watch that does not fall on your wrist always and does not sit correctly, better to wear it very tight.
@Yannou : indeed, from what I saw, the alignment is very good. I'll take other pictures later. I don't want to play too much with the date, so waiting to check the alignment, day after day, in real time.
@ Taka : Titanium would be a good idea as it would make it lighter. Weight is almost an issue here (we all like heavy watches, but that one is really heavy).
However, good titanium work is quite rare on reps, am I right ? Visually, it is machined to look like Titanium, so I have no problem with it. And finally, the Oris costs 240 USD (cheapest price on CQout) which is a more than reasonable superrep price. If the same in Ti existed and had costed 400 or something (current trend), I would never have bought it.

Today, finally, my VCO (1st generation) with K2222's AR coating...
Actually it's my first AR coating on a white dial : I don't think I'll do it on anything else than black or blue in the future. It's surely better, but not as thrilling as on black
Besides, this is still the "old" AR from K2222, who in the meantime brought a close to perfect AR, which you hardly notice. I'm sure it would look fantastic on white...
Mmm... let me think. shall I coat the thing again ? :wink:
This VCO has a long story and is probably the rep I have had the most fixed. I would never have done it on an other (movement repair, new bracelet, AR coating) and probably a DW swap anytime soon : as you see, the 27th is stripped. :evil:
And as I started the adventure with my beloved VCO, it's likely I'll have a cross swap.

This beast arrived today (incredibly fast, I'm wondering why sometimes it needs 4 days and sometimes 10).
My second PAM, a 243 with my favorite (unknown) strap.
I find the rubber strap a bit cheap, or is it only me ?
Now the question : send it for Ar or not ?
Excellent lume, but a flaw in the pearl.
And my cheap PAM box :lol:

Got it from Watchmark, but Silix has it quite affordable too.
I find the lume to be very good out of the box indeed.
Ideally it needs a better cyclop, and some work on the bezel. But it's really a great piece as it is.
