Today on the train i spotted someone with a Luminor Marina (164) i believe, but without the crown guard.

I personally think it's clunky and it hits my wrist/arm pretty often, but i have never thought of wearing it without the CG.
Just curious, does anyone else do the same?

Thanks.

I think I saw some Luminor cases without CG from Davidsen. Maybe a homage?

It´s the CG protection and the little lever which are the distinctive feature of it,
why remove it? it´s like having a gullwing Merc .... and taking out the doors.

Canada, but in Hungary... for now
it´s like having a gullwing Merc .... and taking out the doors.

I'm sorry but that sounds awesome!
Imagine pulling into Monaco with the doors off. The smell of the warm sea air drifting in as all the ladies swoon upon seeing me framed in the doorway.

And you can always put the doors ( or crown guard) back on.

In my country where the climate will scorch your skin when you are directly under the sun water bubbles gets trap in it without the crownguard. This is true especially when you are in a cold as fck room,eg:a cinema and you go out to the hotsun to get your car - water trapped beneath your crystal.
