I have trained my brain to wear anything from 36mm to 48mm and I like all the sizes.
Nothing bothers me with this....I adapt quickly to what is on my wrist.
Anyone else on the same boat?
I'm a small wrist guy and have worn 33mm -> 44mm. I think 44mm is the limit of what I can tolerate. I wanted to try 47mm Panerai once but having put on a 44mm Sub I realized 47mm would have legitimately been insane.
The thing about wrist shots and wrists is that it never takes into account body proportion. If you're a 6'3 guy but with a 6in wrist, wearing a 36mm might feel fine on the wrist but in proportion to your overall body, it's freaking TINY.
That's why it's always better to check yourself out in the mirror (vanity is in our hobby after all) when judging these things. For any small wrist guys, buffing out your frame and forearms will help "lessen" the blow of a large watch.
43mm Seadweller is a tad big on my wrist but when it's on mirror, it's perfectly proportioned to me. Same with the Luminor Marina 44mm Panerai 111 and other large watches I run.
