Anyone out there wears a 47mm on smaller wrists? I'm wondering if I should pull the trigger on a larger PAM as I really like some of the designs :bored:

I saw some and I thought I should ask for better opinions here. I currently own a 111 and 005 and they pretty much rests nicely. Is it really not advisable? :thud:

I was a little concerned myself. But my wife said I could pull it off on my 7+" wrist, and I liked the watch. That's the only opinion I needed to pull the trigger on a 372. :cheer:

Does it look bigger than a 40mm piece? Certainly. But the piece has become so much of who I am, and a part of my look, so I don't really care.

My two cents - if you like it, and you're comfortable with it on your wrist, then go for it!

I guess I gotta go down to an AD to try the 47mm then. I've tried another watch which is about the same size and it's kinda wonky and hits around my wrist.

But then again in a country where I have to wear coats all the time I'm not sure if it's a good choice since I don't think it can hide under my sleeves nicely :nah:

You can pull off a rad like the 288. Keep in mind it will sit like a 111 because it doesnt have a cg. It may even look smaller..

It's not about wrist circumfrence, it's about wrist diameter.

Get a pair of calipers and measure the exact width of your wrist (straight line, edge to edge).

If that measurement isn't higher than 55mm, you're not pulling off a 47mm PAM.

Yes, who cares what other thinks. Your money, your watch, your wrist.
With so many people wearing oversize watch nowadays, you will not look out of place.
Just buy and wear it proudly

Darn it, my wrist's diameter is 52mm. And I got a 127, 372 and I'm thinking of ordering a 217. I must be out of my mind.

Seriously though, as long as you are comfortable wearing the watch, any watch, rock it dude.

Just wear what makes you happy. Forget what others think you should wear or what they think is a fashion faux pas.

haha brilliant!

actually I'm not worrying about it being a faux pas, just wondering how it would 'fit' as I usually wear coats/blazers/shirt and I don't want it sticking out like a sore thumb or 'trapped' under my sleeves

just wear it. nobody care of you watch, only u care about ur watch.

+1

I have 187 for some time now and I have 7.1'' wrist but I love this watch even though it is a bit large for my wrist. Also I think that Submersible models looks larger with it's rubber straps if you think about getting one of these. With leather it should fit better on smaller wrist. Waiting for strap from Bronzy for this watch and when it arrives, I will post some pics here. ;)

Thanks! Yeah I forgot about the strap, that's what makes each pam unique isnt it? :D:

I'll have a look again!

Mako88 makes an excellent point! I use that as a rule of thumb for certain watches - typically those with straight lugs, like the Helson SD.

The 47mm PAMs, on the other hand, just appear to "wrap" around the wrist and sits much nicer.

So if you like the piece and feel comfortable with it, you can certainly pull it off!:cheese:

thanks everyone!! I hope this thread really help others with small wrists like me know better on how the PAM would sit on their wrist no matter the size(s)!

I think I'll pull the trigger on the re-released 127!
