WBK Omega SMP movement swap?

I have been wearing my Omega "Bond" SMP a lot and love the watch, but I do wish the second hand had a smoother sweep than its 21J can provide. What movement can I swap in to do this? 2836? Are the 21J hands compatible with any other movements?

Has anyone done a swap like this before? Is it worth the trouble?

I don't think it will be worth the trouble mate, the 21j hands won't fit the 28.8 beat movements. I think it would be easier to just get a different watch.

Really though, the 21.6 beat is not very noticeable on an omega, as the genuine article beats at 25.2

I realize this is all personal preference though, so whatever you do, make sure it's what you want! Just my .02

It should take the 2824 movement and you will need different hands
