Hi Everyone! As I’ve stated before, this forum is a wealth of information. I noted in an earlier post (see http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/201614-Waterproofing-Report?p=2032935#post-2032935 ) that I used gioarmani7428’s waterproofing tutorial and had a great deal of success with a real beater Sub that I picked up when I was in China for about 20 USD. Its been a neat test-bed for mods and seeing how a a watch works. Its certainly not an accurate rep but it
is a workhorse.

I recently went snorkeling and decided to give the “poor little Sub†a workout. Four hours of vigorous snorkeling, swimming and free diving and it held up like a champ. It’s amazing the abuse this watch has taken yet with proper winding keeps good time and doesn’t leak. And I thought I would include some photos:

After swimming, a quick rinse in the sink and laid out to dry:

Again I wouldn’t know where to have begun without the tutorials offered on this site. Thanks again to everyone who makes this possible!
