Hi,

are there any recommended reliable watchmakers in Singapore who provide the following services?

1) Service replica Panerais
2) Modify them eg. change AR crystals, change gaskets etc
3) Increase and test the water resistance

Thanks

Ben

Hello...
I'm not sure, but ask Goin6633.
He does some good jobs on Panerai... check his posts.
Good luck.

Thanks bros, I'll sure do that sometime in the near future as I am thinking of a dial, crystal and crown change as well as WR testing

Cheers

Why service a Pam movement? Just get a new movement and swap it. A new Asian clone cost $50

Yep, agree. But still the issue of who is going to swap it right? Unfortunately not everybody is mechanically inclined. For instance I suck at mechanical stuff (used to get Ds or Fs in woodwork and metalwork), no confidence is doing the swap myself. :p

not really, imo.

i'm not very technical a person as well.. but when i entered this hobby, i started experimenting with simple stuff like AR removal, mvmt swaps, hand alignment, etc.. of cux back in those days, there werent super-reps so plenty of tutorials on how to decase a pam.. try it out, it helped me understand certain stuffs as well..

i'm sure these tuts are still around..
