I did the $29 last month, comes out like $40 after shipping. The watch was fine, fashion like watch and easily worth the $40. As for the Rolex, if you are a member, you are entered into a drawing every Friday for a chance to win a Rolex.
I just signed up for the Black tier, which is $100, but the watch you get is to be valued rom $150-$500 real work value, not inflated MSRP. So I can update this in a few weeks when it comes in.
Also, every member is eligible to receive a vintage watch at random for their shipment, but again, it is random and rare.
It is pretty low cost for the low tier and kind of fun to see what you get. They partner with newer brands, micro-brands a lot.

From what i read, you just receive a cheap watch, but some of them aren't too bad for the money.....

Here is what I got the first month. As long as you aren't expecting a $250 watch for $30 it isn't a bad.
Yeah, that is why I figured I would give the Black Tier a try and see what kind of automatics they send out. I wasn't going to continue with the $30 tier as I probably wouldn't wear the watches, but I gave the first few I got to a buddy who doesn't own any watches really.
I would say the $30 dollar tier is more fashion watches, think DW watches, which seem to be crazy popular these days.
I would probably wait to join until the group goes mainstream, or maybe I will tell my teenage nephew to join and see what he gets.
Here is my watch from the first month of the black tier. This months partner was Air Blue, same maker as Deep Blue. Pretty great watch imo for 100 bucks. All of the models on airblue's website were shipped (alpha, bravo and Charlie).
