Dear Hesekiel, I meant no offense. My question about WatchesSold was purely informational. I really didn't mean to peddle anything.
As of yet, I haven't purchased any watches through an RWI "Trusted Dealer". I am still learning. I have bought and sold a few watches via Chrono24. I did flip a nice Spring Drive that I purchased from Heritage Auctions. But, after buying and selling over $10K in watches, I gained about $200. It wasn't worth the risk and time. I'm now just interested in owning some interesting watches for personal pleasure.
The RWI site has made me more aware of the risks associated with watch purchases from individuals. I am impressed by the modifications and customizations performed by some of the TDs. The RWI site has also educated me regarding the markup by manufacturers. And, I can accept that most of their cost is actually marketing. But, I still can't understand why a genuine Patek Philippe Aquanaut Quartz in Stainless Steel would cost over $30K (per Chrono24).
Getting back to the topic at hand. Yes, I agree that a person should (and I will) purchase from an RWI Trusted Dealer.
