Watches for university?

okay, based on the countless threads i've been reading, i'm guessing most of you guys are....err...old
what i mean is..beyond university years, working or retired

Now I'm wondering about two things...

Who here is still in university, like me

And is there any suggestion, about what to wear and what not to wear to university? What i mean is, getting a watch that is not to flashy, but its COOL and has class at the same time. A watch that says, I'm mature, but not an old man who wears watches that looks like it came from the 1800's (don't get me wrong i love all kinds watches)...

yes im laughing at my post, sometimes i just wonder about the most random things.

Mate I'm only in my mid thirties so my advice may be too old for you but how about a TAG! BTW never met a "mature" uni student. I think thats an oxymoron- that means "Rhetoric.

I'm 27 and have the breitling sfso white face n I love it. Also I feel very comfortable wearing it. It's not to flashy not to big and it's a cool looking watch.

I´m on a university, in my thirties too, and have been even once or twice attended classes wearing GEN Rolexes...and I also change between my other Rolexes just not the more flashy ones, but nobody cares...

I also wear my TAGs around..but as said, wear what you like the most! Wear what suits your style, and what completes you as a whole, your visual and soul.




...and sometimes, driving a brand new Porsche or Maserati helps a bit. j/k :lol:

I say if you're under 30 go with Pam, Breitling, or Tag. Leave the Omegas, Rollies, Cartier, Pateks, etc... to us "old and decrepit guys" who have less hair - LOL.

I'm doing my post-graduate studies, and I wear my Panerai and Porsche Design to uni. The only comment I get from my friends is "new watch again?". My opinion is, wear what you like to compliment your dressing, and people will admire your taste rather then question the watch.

Yo wasap Im a lil late to the thread but hey I made it. Im going to san diego state, and I wear my SA white (silver) dial everyday everywhere. Its about as flashy as you can get without adding diamonds. You know what.....most nobody notices what the heck you are wearing. Everybody is either checking out the hot guy or gal walking past them. I only had 2 compliments from two people. 1 a hot library assistant that I bet knew what watch I was wearing and 2 from the foreign exchange student from Switzerland the was wearing a navitimer (I sweat some bullets the first time i meat him haha).

Case in point, like has been said, wear what you want, though beware, a rolex might get you noticed but, i counted a lot of them that i know where reps.
