In a nut shell yes or no ????? :?: :?: :!:

All I'm after is a good looking watch that is reliable, no more than £100'ish and to the un trained eye (obviously not hardcore aficionado's like ya good self's ladies & gentlemen) looks like a £3000 watch !!!

Also...........I'm assuming that the cheaper Tag Carrera's on many sites (namely rolex2u) with the upper chrono's showing 12 rather than 20 are replicated liked this to encourage potential buyers to purchase the more expensive rep's ???? or are they earlier models and not as those detailed on the Tag site ????

Cheers

Hi Footski,
I picked up my Panerai Luminor Power reserve from these people:http://www.famousbrandwatch.com/default.asp
You pay in $'s but it aint a problem, mine worked out about £76 with free shippng and they are very helpfull. They keep you informed as what is going on with your order and the whole thing took under a week from door to door. You may think that it can't be much good for that sort of money but it is a really excellent replica and i've checked against genuine ones on the net and it is exact detail for detail. It also has a beautiful display case back where you can see al the workings, and it keeps perfect time.I haven't had to change the hands once since i adjusted the time,i don't know if its anything to do with the power reserve but i was really surprised as how accurate it is,i've had bad experiences with the time keeping of Replicas before but this one is spot on.If you want i can pm you some pics to show you the detail of it if you want.

Stan, I'm UK based too and looking for good, low priced reps/homages. If you still have the pics you took, could you also forward to my PM? I'm looking specifically for a panerai rep/homage in PVD with the power reserve...

cheers mate

i've searched all over the web for hommage timepieces. i looked at the listing of this ebay dealer, i would be interested to hear your experience with any of this dealer's items should you win a bid.

also true to form, the pam111 is a must have for anyone having interest in pams! keep everyone posted with your experience with the ebay dealer and his watches.

I think watcheden is a great place to buy with a great record. I have bought a few watches from them and is totally satisfied.
