I saw a similar one listing with your winder on amazon. Expensive than yours but also looks great.
CHIYODA single watch winder , it has hundreds of reviews now. Should I buy yours or Chiyoda's?

i'm pretty sure they are the same winder. The Chiyoda is priced high just because of the branding. If your not in a hurry to buy i will take detailed pictures when mine arrives (it already shipped) and post them here or i will pm the pics to you.

This is not necessarily the same winder just because it looks similar. The cases can be the same but the motor etc. can differ: Worse ball bearing for example.

It's comparable to reps that are are available with different movements but always in the same case.

Good point. I hadn't thought of it that way. Thank you for correcting me. Tracking indicates it should arrive tomorrow. I will post detailed photos and update periodically with how it's holding up. My plan is to have it running for 6-7 hour per day then letting the winder and watch movement rest. We'll see how it go's :)

In any case you should use some WD40 on the motors every now and then with the cheap winders. Got a cheap one myself, clearly Chinese production, also bought it in the bay, and made the experience that they start getting noisy after a while since the bearings are crap.

Not essentially unfortunately. :whistling:

Respondig to that would make this thread definitely go veeeeery off topic. So I better shut up and keep pretending being a gentleman :innocent:

Anyhow, ball bearings need to get oiled.

Hey guys, Winder finally arrived.
Here are some photos. Looks and feels solid also very quiet for now. It been running on program 4. 10 min clockwise 10 min counter clockwise for 3 hrs then rest for 9 hrs. After the 9 hr rest it will automatically start to repeat the cycle. The spinning movement is smooth and consistent. The wood finish is very glossy and the plastic display is very clear. Arrived in a plan black box. Over all it's seems to be built very well.

I will update again in a few weeks as to how it's working.

I'd suggest getting one with more than one watch holder. I've always said I'd have one rep watch at a time and I've been through dozens, keeping one for daily and one for backup. As of now i have 6 automatics and should be receiving another one tomorrow. I have a single winder as well as a dual and quad. I recommend a quad for future reps :)

Agree on the recommendation. I just bought a similar one, but dual, for about $ 50 on DHGate and am already thinking I should have gotten a quad. Still, let's see how it works, once it arrives.
Nemrac72k - did you test its operation with batteries? Any idea how long they would last?

I haven't yet, so far it's been plugged using the A/C adaptor and it's running flawlessly also still quiet. I will get batteries tomorrow and test how long they will last. I will update :)
