Watch suggestions for small wrist

Hello guys, I've learned about rep watches a few weeks ago and ever since then I've been interested in purchasing my first rep watch. Initially I was going to go for the Omega Aqua Terra 41mm, but when I tried it on at an Omega boutique it was way too big for me and that was when I realized that my wrist (around 15.5cm in circumference) is way too small for most watches, especially reps. Since then I've done my own research for almost 3 weeks now and right now I am looking at a couple of options:

Rolex Oyster Perpetual 36 126000 BPF black dial ($398 from hont)
Rolex Datejust 36 VSF black dial ($488 from hont)
Rolex Submariner 116610 Date VSF (Not sure about price yet, haven't asked)
Cartier Santos Medium GF/V6F (GF: $428 from hont, not sure about V6F)
Tudor Black Bay 58 ZF ($228 from hont)

Here's my brief thoughts on these options :

As for the OP36, I love how the watch looks, simple and gets the job done, however upon doing my research I've learned that the 36mm isn't as great in terms of accuracy or quality as the 41mm version, not to mention it uses the A2824 movement (I know, you won't be able to notice anything unless you take the case off but I still like how the DJ36 has a replica movement)

Right now I'm most interested in the DJ36, however I don't really like the jubilee bracelet and the fluted bezel. It looks way too flashy and overdone. I've learned that VSF only makes jubilee bracelet and fluted bezel, and the only way I can get the DJ36 with smooth bezel and oyster bracelet is by buying a gen part (Which will cost me quite a hefty sum). I'm not sure if this will be worth the money, especially since I am on a tight budget and this is the only watch I'll buy for a while.

I've come across a thread on reddit where someone recommended to just buy a submariner instead of an OP or DJ, since its demand has been high for a long time and therefore it has the best replica quality out of all rep watches out there. Other than this reason, I've always wanted to buy a sub for myself (My grail alongside the milgauss) and therefore I've considered just getting a submariner instead.. However obviously the 6 digit subs will be a bit big for me and the slightly smaller 16610 is no longer in production. So if I buy a VSF sub chances are it'll look way too big on me.

The Cartier Santos Medium is also a really nice watch, but I was thinking of getting a GF one and apparently they've been raided a few days ago, and I'm not sure if hont has them in stock anymore.

The BB58 is a great watch and I've always loved how it looked. Not to mention how its significantly cheaper (in both gen and rep), but after doing some research I've discovered that its quality isn't as great as those of other reps such as the Santos, Submariners, Datejusts, etc... Not to mention that it's a bit larger than the other options on the list.

I'm looking for a simple, versatile do-it-all watch that I can wear to anything from casual occasions to formal events. Obviously my options are limited due to my small wrist, but is there any other watch that could work out for me that you guys know of? And if not, which one of these watches will work out the best for me? Thank you in advance!

Hi and welcome to RWI!

If you need anything else, feel free to reach out to @eBoy or myself, we’re happy to assist.
Regarding your questions.
Can’t do nothing wrong with a BP OP 36, the black dial was my first rep, it’s one year old now and works like the first day. An all rounder, and looks awesome on a black leather/croc strap, too.
As for the dj, isn’t clean also repping it in 36mm? Maybe they have the oyster bracelet version? Can’t remember.
Other possible options:
Rolex Explorer 1 36mm, also great and BP looks the part all right, best dial around.
Have you considered a Daytona? It also isn’t that big and wears smaller than you’d expect.
Wish you good luck with your research!

All of these seem great choices. I can also only join @Feefo with the daytona suggestion. I was hesitant myself, but the 6 digit references wear really more like 38 - plus I have the same wrist size as you.

Thank you for the warm greetings! I do believe clean only makes the 41mm DJ, and the only really good reps for the DJ36 are ARF and VSF ones. I am still hesitant about buying the sub, but good for me a friend of mine has one in gen so I'll try out his watch tomorrow and see how it fits.
I've always loved how the explorer looked and did my fair share of research on that too, I think that'll be one of my next pickups once I'm settled with my first watch.
Never really liked the daytona personally, not saying it's a bad watch, but I've always been a fan of simpler designs and the Daytona is simply just far off from that. Maybe I'll change my mind someday, who knows right?

Anyways, thank you for your advice and have a great day!

Do you happen to own any other watches with a simpler, low profile design that fits your wrist well? Finding a watch that has good rep quality and looks good on a small wrist is so hard...

Honestly, only gen - best fitting watch ever for me is the 34mm JLC Master Control on bracelet, that can be obtained for about 2k. Compared to some rep prices, this is even easy to swallow.
For rep I most enjoy (from visual standpoint) wearing a vintage 37 mm daytona (plus super cheap since JKF), but would never go out with one (can not pull of a min 50k watch yet).

You’re welcome. I see many parallels with my own path, I know where you’re coming from. I was the same, liked simpler watches and didn’t like busy dials at all. But this hobby gives you so many opportunities to see much variety and read of many experiences, nowadays I’m open to almost anything (almost, will never get near a RM, for instance…).
Do what makes you feel good and with time you’ll see if there’s other things that tickle your curiosity. Enjoy the path!

I think the Omega Planet Ocean 39.5 (available from VSF as rep) is a great watch if you want to wear a "big boy's" sports watch watch, but have slim wrists. Because of the PO's thick bezel, even the larger 42mm PO wears actually thinner than the 41mm AT and looks great on my sub 16.5cm wrist (...like I said, it even looks smaller than the AT 41 on me).

For the low entry price the BB58 is a great choice. Also bring cheaper in gen makes it a little easier to get the feel of wearing a rep if you know what I mean.

I second the comment about the Daytona. Having avoided it myself for many years I finally hit the bullet and love it.

Tudor 36mm?
EWF explorer I in 36mm
RAF rolex 16610 is available in black and Kermit but do some reading on the flaws first.

Breitling 57’ heritage superocean is thin and wears great

42mm panerai models?

Cartier Santos Medium (35mm) is very sleek and there are good reps.
