went to get my V1 clean out of winder and it had stopped. Once wound up was showing correct amplitude or should i say acceptable, in the range of 268, beat error was measured anywhere from 3ms to .5ms although was mainly toward 3ms i do not know lift angle for the movement in the mki, so don't know how to interpret those results.

i guess the rotor plate that winds is probably over greased or grease has gone gummy?. watch bought used i think its a couple of years old. presently on wrist and running fine.

Any of you guys experienced with this movement able to hazard a guess? i expect i am completely wrong in my assumption.

So we know it can wind manually but auto wind is not working - is the rotor moving at all? Any unusual sounds or sensations when you shift the watch head left to right horizontally to drive the rotor?

Not listened to movement, but will try to compare those things to my other watches.

May be that the rotor is somehow immobilised (obstructed?), possible the rotor has somehow become disconnected - you’ll either hear nothing, or you’ll hear something very odd.
