So recently I've acquired the Ingy Laureus, and a lot of people have been telling me that the watch looks like me. So I decided to look up what an IWC owner would look like, and this is what I found.
I think this comparison table is spot on. :biglaugh:

People that are buying a brand new Rolex today, they want to give others with mainstream watch-knowledge the impression of that they have money. The typical Rolex customer gives a damn about the movement, they want the brand and that it looks expensive.

It may be percieved to be the most expensive, but not in actuality. If I wore an AP to school (far more expensive than Rolex) I guarantee like .6253 people would even have a clue what it what. I could tell them I got it at Target and they would believe me.
