OK, so I was a little crazy one day online and saw the sweetest 26mm strap. I bought it, but I still don't have a watch head, a year later, to fit. I need someone to recommend me to the best Fiddy, 217, or whatever other cool 26mm accepting watches.

I am looking for a GOOD fiddy for around $300, and I'm totally open to suggestions.

BTW, the watch strap was made from an original WWII weapons holster. It's, well, AWESOME.

THANK YOU ALL FOR ANY SUGGESTIONS

I'd love to see a pic of it. :)

For 300 I would be on the look out for a used DSN. Other cool 26mm in my opinion are the 202 and the 225 (both subs).

For you Coldi, I will get a pic post haste. I'm not a Sub fan, but I will definitely check out your suggestions...and I really appreciate the help. Lemme get my camera and take some strap shots...

I bought one of Davidsen's 3646 vintage PAMS, specifically the Deco Bezel, for which Savage then made me a gorgeous watch strap in black. I'm changing the brown dial to an MM which is still in transit. It's a 26mm size strap and there are several versions. Down near the bottom of the list of Davidsen's Photobucket. Very , very cool, if you ask me. He uses the Molinja Russian movement. The only limitation for this version is that the strap needs to be stitched to the watch, so that may not work for you.

It sounds like it would look awesome on my Fiddy. Tell you what - I'll buy it from you and that will solve many problems: no more tough decison of which watch to buy; no financial expenditure; and you make a little spending cash on the deal.
So basically, it's a win-win!

Roger, hey man are you on the level?
Is an offer like this concrete or just a foundation for selling your Fiddy?
