So I purchased a watch from Steve at The One Watches a liitle over a year ago. The wrong watch was sent and Steve there argued continuously with me that they sent the right watch. I originally ordered a Breitling - SuperOcean II 44mm SS/SS Black/Num GF Asia 2824. I wanted the black face with black bezel and he sent a blue face watch with black bezel. Steve argued with me numerous times that a black watch was sent...it's BLUE. See pic. Regardless, Steve was not sending another watch so I learned to love the blue one that was sent. Now, just over a year later, the bezel ring (not sure proper name) has fallen off the watch (shown in pic). I would be wary of the service and quality from The One Watches

Bezel inserts fall off of gen watches, too...it happens.

FWIW, the gens and reps often use the same method of attachment. All you need to do is reattach it, with either glue or press fitting...from the picture, it looks like glue (or more accurately, double sided tape) was used originally.

I've had this happen on gen watches myself, it's not a big deal. Your watch looks to have a fair amount of wear for being a year old, perhaps it's a combination of bad adhesive and rough handling.

Thanks for the info and the watch is worn daily. Will try some glue.

Hi the quality and service cannot be put onto the Dealer.

The factory who makes the watch. The one watches has no control over this.
How would the dealer know that the bezel will drop off after a year?
You have to realise at the end of the day if the watch is working and you approved the quality check. Its basically sold as seen after you have worn it.

There is no such guarantee with replica watches.

Its also an easy fix.

Mangled? The watch is in good shape otherwise. Maybe bad pics. I added a few others for comparison. The watch is worn daily but not in any kind of harsh environment. Im a desk pretty much all day. See pics.

And its obvious that the watch has a blue face. Steve somehow couldnt see the blue and my order confirmed that a black face was purchased.

How was the QC accepted if it was not watch ordered? He numbers the watches on the QC and ships same one approved by buyer. Seems that should have caught the error. Kind of a cool looking piece. But me, I would...

Far from an expert, but is there a chance that the AR coating on the crystal makes the (black) face look blue? Some AR can be rather aggressively blue tinted.

We are sorry that the previous ordering process didn't make you fully satisfied, the bezel falling off belongs to the use of the process of accessory problems, which is also common in the replica watches, we QC can't control it, please understand, if you use glue to paste and still can't completely fix it, then it is best to find a watchmaker to fix it. If you have any questions or need our help, you can contact us.

If you've had that for a year , you've beat it up. I have watches that are 6 years old that don't look like that. As has already been mentioned, dealers don't build watches. You could have received this same piece from a dozen different TDs.

Understand your initial frustrations with purchase, but the insert popping off is hardly at the cause of the Seller.

Have to say, I've rarely seen an Oyster stretched like that. Even for a REP, and worn daily for a year...seems excessive. As mentioned, clean the bezel of any dirt/residue, a drop or two of adhesive, and that baby should snap back on...gentle pressure though, or it just might snap. ;)

I do appreciate seeing a watch in that condition...actually worn without fear, and not kept hidden away, as a safe-queen. (y)

Best...🍻

Make sure you use jewellery glue or a glue that isn't too runny like super glue. You will make a mess of the bezel mechanism. Thin double sided tape will be your safest bet.

This has nothing to do with the TD. You are lucky that it's such an easy fix. Sometimes movements die,
clasp break .... Remember you'r buying a Rep. If you want the best quality available you have to buy Gen and even there something can break. You'r a member since 2017 but have given nothing to this forum and now you only come to complain.

I had to remove and reattach a bezel that was misaligned on a Yacht Master Rep.

I found Double Sided adhesive that was cut in the correct size on Aliexpress. It worked great.

Pretty sure it's just an xtal with very heavy blue tinting.
