This is the third watch I am buying from trusty. A vc fiftsix complete calendar.

As soon as i received the QC today, this is what i asked:

"Can you take 2 more pics of the watch ? One at 3 o'clock even, the other at 9 o'clock even. I wanna make sure the hour hands and minute hands are aligned, thx"

The reason I ask is because from rwi forum, 2 -3 members have received the watch with the hour hands and minute hands misaligned...they all took pictures and post it on line.
https://forum.replica-watch.info/fo...-constantine-fiftysix-complete-calendar/page6

The answer that I got is :

"All the QC pics have been taken in accordance to how it should be stated on the QC assurance page.
Thanks and regards"

I am not happy from the answers I got,. I assume it is a simple task for them to do for a customer. Isn't that the whole point of "QC"???

I haven't heard anything back sine then..i assume they already started the shipping process.

Please correct me if I did expect too much from a "QC" process..

Thank you everyone.

Imo that is not too much too ask.

This could be reason to switch to another, smaller operation, TD but it would be nice to let Andrew give an explanation.

The big TDs such a Trusty and PT do not always have time for custom qc work

I have never done that and i dont nitpick at QC, i just check that is the right model and doesn't have some serious damage but that's me.
In my opinion you didn't ask much, this is the reason QC exists.
Just dont be very picky this is bothering(not that you were now).

I had the same issue with Trusty (been buying from Andrew for over 10 yrs). It takes them a day or so to turn around for more photos.

TBH the only reason I am sticking with him is because he offers 5% discount with direct bank transfer and he has a UK account I can transfer directly to so I'm not losing on FX and Fees, etc. If that doesn't apply to you I would buy from smaller TD who uses WhatsApp where you can have "conversation" with. Hand alignment for me is pretty crucial as the hands does tell the time vs something trivial like is there a spec of dust if I magnify the watch 50 x with my computer.

He also had send me QCs where a case back screw was clearly missing, it was extremely embarrassing when it was my friends first rep and I simply forwarded him the QC and he was like what kind of dealer is this sending QC photos of a watch with something clearly missing without much scrutiny needed.

Long story short, Andrew has gotten too big for his own good, he can't scale while maintaining his high level of service. Gone are the days where he answers my emails within minutes but now on day(s).

I'm sorry but sometimes I do get too carried away when they are too many emails and QCs to clear

Will do better

For the watch that doctor-g mentioned, I have checked and it is ok before shipping

Should there be any issues, just email me directly or PM me on the forum and I will ensure I resolve it for you
