Was 001Q ever repped?

Today I started to wonder whether there was any attempt of repping a 001Q made by any of the factories?

Checked trusty’s and puretime websited with no luck.

It speaks to me somehow, the fonts, the polished CG, the „patina”. Great watch!

Oh, then I wouldn’t have high hopes about the dial, dials were never his strong side.

Exactly, dial was one of the weak points (I don’t have any photos - it was back in 2015). Sady no other factory ever made this ref. which in my opinion would have had good sales.

I have Belkin’s dial in my 202a and it is nice, not sure if he does post-V as good as pre-V though?



Also even with dial custom made there is still a serious problem with caseback and old design crown guard.

Yes and no, it has a later style bigger font of the 3 lines, in ivory instead of smaller early 2000s white writing.

Also the CG is brushed and probably thicker than early 001s had.

Not sure if I am right but even the numbers seem different, especially the 12 and 3.

I was thinking that actually a 631 rep could be a way to go as it would be a bit closer…
