Has anyone sent a watch back to puretime for warranty? How did it go? I purchased https://puretimewatch.io/submariner...-904l-steel-vsf-1-1-best-edition-vs3135.html# at end of August and took about a month to receive. Good communication and shipping was about what I thought it would be. Watch looks great but it won't hold correct time, I've made sure it is wound and have wore it all day and by morning the time will be off. Tthey suggested I take it to local watch repair place but I'm in a small city and don't know any that would work on one that's not real so they gave me details on sending it back to them to be fixed. Little worried about customs and how long it will take. I'm in Alberta Canada

Welcome to RWI!

1. How many minutes a day are we talking about here? You have a certain inaccuracy with every mechanical watch.
2. something can always go wrong, of course, but it has worked well for many people. The most important thing is that you fill out all the shipping documents properly.
3. for me personally it would be too hot and not worth the effort + the costs (shipping is not free). Especially since the watch has to be returned to you.

My tip: Search Google Maps for small watchmakers. Go by, exchange a bit about watches, enjoy a coffee together. And then talk openly about your problem. I found a small watchmaker around the corner from me within 3 days who didn't have any problems with repairs / service on replicas.

If it was only a few minutes it wouldn't be a big deal but it can be hours, a couple weeks ago I wound the watch on Sunday and wore it all day Sunday and Monday and I didn't wear it Tuesday and Wednesday morning it was off by 8 hours. Some mornings it'll be a couple hours and sometimes it will be correct. Makes no sense what's going on with it. I'm a little worried about sending it back and then hoping it makes it back to me again as well. I've been delaying on sending for that reason and hoping I'll find a place here to work on it

Might be something as simple as the seconds hand barely touching the crystal.

This movement should have 72 hours power reserve. Please try to wind it enough turns ( like 40 rounds) ,try to wear it everyday and check again if it can last for 3 days.

I've done that and I'm lucky if it's still working the next morning. It's not holding any reserve power

You can feel free to email us if it doesn't keep time for at least 2 days.
