I am an absolute noob in Pam, but I can say these listings 99.9% fake. Like you said, who will put a quarter-million dollar watch on eBay? Why not Sotheby's and Christie's?

Pretty sure they're extremely rare, too...like a few dozen are known to exist, at least of the 6154. Odds of this guy having two of them is a bit hard to believe.
Also, he has 100% feedback, but hasn't sold anything in over a year. Probably an account with a lot of good feedback got hacked.

I started working on a couple of these, I don’t think it will be anything that will fool an expert, but really like the idea of one, so wanted it represented in the collection.

So far it’s AliX cases (~$25 each) and hands (~$2 or so per set), homemade gilt dials ($scrap sheet brass and some waterslide decal paper) and Asian 6497s (~$30 each), but just found out Athaya has a few dials left in stock, so they’re already starting to get upgraded, lol. They're probably going to wind up on a cheap AliX leather strap, so I'll have maybe $75 tops into each one, which isn't too bad for what I hope they'll come out as.

At the moment, the dials are printed, but I haven't even started working on lume or patina. They're not even dials, just some brass blanks I cut out of sheet metal, I still need to add dial feet and drill the hole for the pinion in the middle. The cases are still in the plastic, so they'll need some aging as well.

The dial on the left is just something I mocked up in Paint during some downtime at work. It's not really a copy of anything that exists in real life, just sort of a fantasy piece. The one on the right is the closest I could get to copying Athaya's version of it, because they were out of stock forever. That said, they have a small number of them, so I ordered two.
