Just received the Panerai wall clock swiss quartz ''best version'' from Toro.

I m very Sad.

First of all the hour and minute hands are not stable and fixed.
They go around like crazy ,when you put the watch in vertical position the hour and minute hands fall at 6 .

Second in the box there are no ''papers, guarantee card and leaflet'' like its supposed...

any suggestions?

thanks

D.

Have you followed protocol and contacted Toro first prior to posting here?

Yeah i did,

Its not like i m starting a dispute or something, just taking opinions.
As the wall clock is a heavy item, with expensive transport cost, its not an easy thing to return.

My first attempt would be to fix it locally, maybe request parts if necessary..

Then I would suggest asking a watchsmith or someone who works with clocks to take a look at it. It sounds like the hands are not properly fixed to the cannon (since they fall down to 6 o clock when positioned vertically).

Sounds like the hands are just lose on the pinion. All that is probably needed is for them to be pushed back on. As you said it's heavy and I bet it got dropped in transit.

As for the papers Toro should send them if they were supposed to be included.

See what Toro says about the papers, they probably got missed out by mistake, and Im sure they will be forwarded to you. As to the clock hands, why not try fixing them yourself, should be quite easy enough mate, and the issue is more than likely as TB states. A knock in transit has dislodged them from the pinion.
