VSF YachtMaster 116622 vs 126622

What's your guy's thoughts on the VSF 116622 vs 126622? For context on the question, a dealer has a long waitlist for the 126622, but has a 116622 ready to go right now. What would you go for?

Obviously the VS3135 vs the VS3235 has been well discussed, but interested to see what personal preference is on the watch itself.

There doesn't seem to be as much hype on the 11xx when compared to the 12xx YM's from the forum reading so far...

People have mentioned that the 12xx case lugs are bad and that the 11xx case lugs are better from VSF; should that impact the discussion?

Interested to see what people would do - wait for the 12xx or get the 11xx now?

My friend, when you will them in real life, you will notice the 1 mm difference, the 126610LN sit better on hand(I own both) and the strap is narrow.

About movement, there is also big difference, the VS3235 is the only clone movement with 70 hours time reserve, same as Gen.
The VS3135 have 40 hours and he is also superior movement in the 116610 models.

I may be mistaken here, but I thought that the 116622/126622 were both 40mm cases? The 116610/126620 are definitely different in size like you say.

Again, I may be wrong as I can't find a lot of information, but the TD's list them as both 40mm.

Okay so update - I’ve asked 3 different TD’s and they all report that VSF did make the 116622.

There’s some Reddit threads that say that they didn’t make it, so I’m somehow even more confused than when I started…

If anyone can shed some light it’d be helpful!

they realeased it couple days ago, good choice with the VS3135. I don't know if it's more reliable than a VS3235 but it's nice that they offer a different model of the same watch with a different movement as per gen

I don’t think any reps can be trusted as waterproof out of the box. I know many send their watches for a service and waterproofing for peace of mind as soon as they get them.

Where would you send them? I made the experience that legitimate watch dealers don’t want anything to do with reps.
