Hello all,
I'm new here so forgive me if this is in the wrong place! I recently purchased a second hand VSF Submariner 116610LN which originated from Geektime. It looks to be in very good condition and albeit new to the field, a very good replica.
I have however noticed that it keeps falling behind in time. I assumed I didn't wind it enough, but after putting it back on and opening a window it jumped back a whole 5 minutes. So I gave the watch a gentle shake by rotating my wrist and noticed that the minute hand is loose and can jump about a little, only about 5 minutes or so in either direction. It seems to rotate anti-clockwise more freely.
It has the VS3235 movement to my knowledge. I can imagine this is something that has happened in transit, perhaps the box has taken a tumble as we know happens all too well.
In short, is this likely to be a simple, relatively cheap fix, or an endless nightmare where I've wasted my precious pennies? This is my first replica and whilst visually it's stunning, this is a bad start.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Nick
