Selling my NTTD Seamaster as I just picked up the Gen!
Having the gen to compare side by side have to tell you VSF did superb work on this one. Dial and bezel are practically 1:1. The beautiful hugh of chocolate, black/ grey that the watch is so well known is matched near perfect. Even the bezel action/sound feels almost the same. Lume is also impressive, though not as strong or long lasting as the original.
The only real giveaway - as with all VSF Seamasters - is shortened crown gaurds and ever so slightly larger case size/thickness (and you seriously have to have a keen eye/ know what you're looking for). Obviously the bracelet is stainless steel and even though it wears slightly heavier than the gen titanium bracelet, it's still amazingly comfortable and light.
To be perfectly honest, I'd say if VSF fixed their crown guards, it's almost NWBIG!! For a brief second I did almost consider throwing the gen bracelet on the rep and selling it back with just the nato thus saving myself plenty of $$$ ._. Also having said that, IF you are looking to add the gen v. of this watch to your collection, defintely pick it up on the secondary market...absolutley not worth the premium of buying it in boutique.
Bought the rep late last year from TD and wore it with much love so hairline scratches are all you'll see.
