the way, the dots are inserted into the ceramic bezel, and I like the gaps on vsf more. It's a pity there is no comparison on the side by thickness ....

Biggest issue on this one (despite relative thickness comparisons) is the movement, they used the p9000 clone inside where they would have been better off using a 7750, this has resulted in the CP being too large and incorrect movement operation. The other is the crystal having the fish eye effect whereas the gen does not have the effect.

other than that it is a good looking very wearable version.

I like this watch. However the VSF's bezel numbering is a little weak. The thickness is the same at 14.5mm according to various TDs' websites. Rep PAM 682 was thicker than the gen, so I am glad this rep exists with correct thickness. Anyone has purchased one?

This is a good watch, save for the general downsides of the 42mm subs from VSF, which were last summed up by superspark in thread pam1209:

AS all the VSF 42mm sub releases, the following flaws are present....

Case shape, where the lugs meet the case
Case thickness
Cannon Pinion is too large
Fisheye crystal, unless they have fixed it?. Should be no lens effects on the new subs.

although. love the 47 and 44's the 42mm subs wear very well, just a shame they cant nail it. VSF have a policy it seems to stick the p9000 clone in everything where they would have been better served on the closed Caseback models using an eta clone. Then the thickness wouldn't be an issue for the case not the cannon pinion being too large.
