Just seen this on Puretime. I've been wondering if to get a 508 or the carbotech 616.
The problem on this 508 though is that the vintage / tan colour seems to be jumping around all over the place - from hands to dial print, bezel and indexes - it's really inconsistent.
Is that how it is on the gen as well? Ive been contemplating the 508 as well and googled some images and it looks like that on gens as well (ie: hands seem lighter in color). Ive never handled the gen in real life so i have no clue.
The colour is not exactly the same throughout, but it is much more 'unified'. The rep seems to vary from quite red on the bezel, against a brown pearl, the hands look too yellow, and the 12 and 6 markers are different to the other indexes. I don't think I could live with it. A lot of the Google pics are of reps!

What’s your consensus on the new version?Tip: Never use a picture on the OP website. Those are either pre-production prototype watches or are simply computer generated images. If you look at this actual picture of a gen PAM508 on Risti, you will notice that the hands are a shade lighter compared to the hour markers. The sticks also look a bit lighter than the circular dots on the dial. Granted the minute bezel markers from 0-15 and the number 15, 30 and 45 are lighter compared to the ones on the rep bezel. But not everything is wrong lume wise.

I can't give a consensus (by definition it is to be done by a majority) plus as I've never held the actual rep in my hands I cannot give a judgement, although I can comment on the matter. For a movement change that is only aesthetic and at the same time hidden behind a closed caseback, my comment is "same watch, no change".
Dang i just paid Sead yesterday for the 508 too before i read this thread. I wasnt aware there was a new version out as the VSF was on Omagdads super rep list. Now im not sure what to look for on the qc pics lol
I don’t know if anyone has the actual watch to report on that. However, any noisy rotor I have ever had has been pretty much fixed by adding a little oil. Gen Pams also have noisy rotors sometimes. The sound of the rotor on KW's 508 is really loud, has VSF's movement improved this issue?

@mysterio Question about ceramic watches. On the dial it looks as in some places the ceramic isn't evenly coated. Is this normal?
Apologies. I posted pictures in a different thread. The consensus was that it was dust on the bezel.Uh where? Don't say "it looks..." then don't show a picture for others to comment on.
