Hi guys, The screw holding the crown guard in place on my bronzo has fallen out and disappeared, wondering if anyone is able to help me identify the size of the screw so i can order one and fix it.

I've reached out to my TD to ask the factory, but taking ages for them to get back to me.

Slim chance, but thought i'd try here too, thanks in advance.

I’m not sure about the bronzo but I’ve used the ones from WatchWholesaleOutlet on 44 and 47mm luminor and submersible models and they worked fine.

I also got a small screw kit off Amazon and one of the sizes works well. You just have to sand down the screw head a bit.

Well, if you have any 44mm Panerai models they will get used eventually. You should also try taking your 968 to an eye glass store / small electronics repair shop as they may have the correct size screw in stock (and much cheaper).

Sorry for the f-up.

Haha no worries. I might try to find a store.

I still have the top screw in the crown guard, any chance you could check if the two crown guard screws are the same?

Then I can just take the top screw to get matched.

You can definitely get electronics screws to work. But While the shaft and threads will work and screw into the hole - I believe it is 1.6mm x 2-3mm - but the head will be too big to fit into the little holes on the crown guard. You just have to sand the head down a little to fit in the hole and you’ll be all set.
