VSF PAM 441 - Silence rotor weight

Hey guys,

my PAM 441 VSF V2 is a real beauty, but nothing comes perfect. The rotor weight seems to charge the watch only moving clockwise. Sometimes moving the wrist or especially putting it down on my desk, it starts spinning counter clockwise like a helicoper. The sound is like spinning a marble inside a glass bowel (I suppose - never spinned a marble inside nothing). It is really loud and annoying.

Here is my question: The weight seems to spin on three ceramic balls. Would it help to put some Type 1-3 oil under the weight (or silicone wd-40 dry lube)?

Did anyone with a VSF pam try to silence the automatic winding?

Thanks for your help

It may help, but you want to use the proper type of oil or you risk that the oil will be creeping into the movement which would be rather bad for the movement.
I've seen people using bearing grease, however, the pros use something like Moebius 9010 and a kit of oilers.

I read from a rep watchmaker that by the time you add enough or heavy enough lubrication to silence the rotor, you compromise the rotor movement.
