Cannon pinion looks loads better than what I was expecting, will be interesting to see what the crystal is like wether they have fixed the fisheye.

Yeah I agree man. Hard to tell on the pics regarding the Xtal but looks good to me

From looking at these the gen is defiantely thinner with different transitions from lugs to case, you will only be able to see the fisheye if its still there at an angle which the above pics don't show unfortunately. And CP is still smaller on the gen however it looks like they have improved the reps.

Is it just me or do the lume dots look smaller on the rep too?.

Scratch that, lume dots look pretty good along with date window size, ive done an overlay pic set at 50% transparency. Case shape could be a concern but different cameras lenses have different distortions/compressions so cant say for 100% but the cushion shape certainly looks different, along with a few other slight differences.

As far as the lugs and the shape, it does look a little wonky but it might just be from adding all that thickness. When you have a difference that significant, it is going to throw off proportions somehow and someway.

The pearl - as on all Panerai reps could use a beefier rim around the luminious part. That silver ring around the white pip. It's such a small detail and it is always the first thing that catches my eye.
