I really like this Quaranta series especially the 1292 white dial and hope they get the thickness (gen is 10.15mm) right.
What's worry me about the pictures above is the color of the luminous material as part of the sandwich dial construction and handset. Looks too pale. In the gen, it is tan color as like fake deep patina.
They use their clone movement so expect a very thick watch. For the 40mm models this choice is ridiculous ;-)I will be receiving QC photos today. Will let you know the thickness and post those photos as well

That seems pretty ok. Do you have the QC pictures or any pictures at all?It is 12mm
Thanks for the new photos.More photos added to original post.
I doubt that any new Panerai clone movements will ever be made. The popularity of Panerai has waned in China (notice how they've been releasing all the smaller variants the past year?) The P9000 is the best we have which means we will always have these thick boys unfortunately. Thanks for the new photos.
The lume is creamy and not as tan as the gen. This is the biggest tell. If it is 12mm thick, then it is not acceptable for me although others may find this ok. A 10mm thin watch wears very different from a 12mm thick watch.
On the datewheel......is the font a tag smaller or the date window a tag bigger on the rep ? The date fills the entire window in the gen.
I think it is not difficult to get this model correct, just need to wait for one or more editions.
Possibly. I think the off kilter position of the small seconds subdial is harder to replicate with a stable movement than we think. If we use a 7750 which it is based off then it would be THICC. I'm not a watch maker so who knows.Does this need to have a clone movement since it has a hard caseback ?
Could this be better served with a reliable movement (if any) than is thinner ?
Gen is 10,8 mm and rep is 12 mm which is nearly 1mm, so not that bad. We've seen worse. The PAM512 from V6F was 13,5 mm compared to 11,5 mm of the gen. Thanks for the new photos.

Any video you can upload of the other dial colors?
