VSF DJ41 Z66 and Z80 Serials

I just received QC photos from a TD and noticed the serial on the dj41 rehaut has the Z66 serial number. I did some searching on RWI via Google (minimum characters) and only came across a few threads from 2023 that mentioned the updated Z80 case. Additionally I researched other QC photos on another site to see what is currently being sold by VSF and was unable to get a solid answer. Is anyone aware of VSF reverting back to the Z66 case or is VSF trying to sell off old stock?

Also I’m not asking for assistance to RL or GL. This is merely a question to something I do not the answer to. Just looking for updated information so I’m more knowledgeable on this subject and hopefully help others members who may have the same question.

They still use Z66 case. Z80 hasnt been used for a year lol

Ok so apparently VSF didn’t fully adopt the updated z80 case. I appreciate the feedback.

Having multiple sources of information is never a bad thing. Especially in this day and age when it’s right at our fingertips.

There are fakes of VS and Clean so serial is just one part. Easiee to buy from someone trusted

I’m using a TD, someone I’ve been using since 2012. I’ve trusted them to allocate, photograph and ship me watches for years. However I’ve always relied on my learned knowledge to determine if the watch they sourced meets my standards and expectations.
