VSF DJ41: Swap from VS3235 to ETA 2824 possible?

I couldn’t find something by searching, please let me know if this was discussed already.

I‘m wondering if it’s possible to swap a VS3235 in case of any issues in the future to an ETA 2824 (or other ETA movement) which is easier to source and service in the long term. I raise this questions because I saw the ARF DJ41 uses an Asia 2824-2 but maybe there are some technical details I don‘t know about

Thanks, that was the clarification I was looking for. So seems economic-wise this split wouldn't make sense then

No it doesn't make economical sense to do so. If this movement ever craps out on you, you can buy a new one for $100-$150 which is much less than what you would spend on an ETA swap. Enjoy your watch as it is would be my advise
