By proceeding with this listing, I fully release, discharge and forever hold harmless RWI, its owners, agents, administrators, employees and staff, and I release them from any and all responsibility and liability for any and all claims, costs, expenses, actions, demands, or damages related to the buying or selling of products and/or services offered in this listing.  By entering into and continuing with this transaction, I acknowledge that I am proceeding with this sale voluntarily and at my own risk, and that I have read the foregoing and fully understand the nature, extent, effect and consequences of its contents.

I wanted this very particular combination on this watch - the Oyster links and a smooth bezel - for a very good reason. My vintage, and now very sold, gen DJ 36 TT had the jubilee bracelet which rattled vigorously and the gold fluted bezel which I’ve come to realise was just too bling for me. Sead had this configuration which not every TD covers in stock in April last year, and I did not hesitate.

I’ve owned quite a few watches in my years on this planet. Observations people have made about watches I’ve worn have led to or furthered discussions about watches and other things, certainly. Watches I’ve worn have even garnered compliments - my excessively blingy and long ago sold two tone gen vintage Datejust may even have started a conversation with an attractive woman, believe it or not.

This watch has done something quite different. No other watch I’ve worn has caused the open or furtive staring - by males and females - that this one has. A compliment or two, to be sure, but watching the eyes, I’ve seen this capture and then retain attention consistently. I aver that none staring at it came to the conclusion it was a rep because when worn to situations where credibility mattered, it had always contributed, as far as I’m concerned, to getting across whatever it was I was conveyjng.

As I’ve said in another thread in the past, the bright case, the shimmering dial, and the contrasted link finishing on the bracelet, absolutely do catch and play with light, and people take notice of this watch.

Is this the perfect rep for all wearers in every circumstance? Not at all. The sub, for instance, is a ubiquitous watch which coves many dress code requirements. This is a more refined and dressy piece which is more at home in the board room or tennis court than at the club.

So why sell it? Simply put, I am not spending a lot of my time needing to impress anyone these days, and I’ve bought more watches. I enjoy my 39mm Explorer dressed down, my Ballon Bleu dressed up, my gen Longines in the middle where a bigger dial is appropriate, and I’ve got other pieces in various states of disassembly in my backlog awaiting my attention or more wear, so I’m passing on this good luck charm to someone else to enjoy.

Condition wise, being a shiny Rolex replica in 904L, it has picked up a few scratches, despite the fact I put a nano protection coating on it. I’ve taken pictures from multiple angles in daylight in an effort to properly show you the case, clasp, and bracelet from all angles. If you require more pictures or are unclear on condition, please ask for details and/or more pictures before you say you shall buy it. I don’t brush out or attempt to conceal the wear on my watches.

The particular VS3235 with the decorated rotor and so on that you see in the pictures which beats at the heart of this watch is among the best time keeping rep movements I’ve had, and if this doesn’t sell promptly, I may well switch it it out for other uses.

I removed one link and pin for my fitting, which is included as pictured, along with the bag in which it was delivered and the warranty card.

I paid £415.59 posted to me in the UK last year and I’ve had good use out of the watch, as the minor wear on the bracelet attests.

Yours for £360.00 via Royal Mail Special Delivery. Pay today and it could be on your wrist on Saturday morning. Even if you don’t like the dial, this would make an exceptional base for swapping in parts.

UK buyers only as a default as I only take payment via UK bank transfer.

You must note that I expressly tell you, dear readers, “don’t make low ball offers because doing so means I will ignore your message and by your own actions you may lead yourself to be offended accordingly”. I am in no rush to sell this, if I’m minded to lower the price you will see as much in the thread.

I select my buyer, saying “I’ll take it” via PM or here does not mean you shall take it.

On to the imagery.
