VSF 3135 best clone movement.

Hello Guys i was looking in an article about VSF 3135 and its says that the VSF its the closest clone movement and looking at those pictures i found more thing that make me think VSF is by far the best movement 3135 .I will show the images and what more i see than their writtes i see more reassons to think why VSF is the best ,

You can see how closer and how much more copy is to the gen that makes me think everything in this movement can be change with the gen .
Im not a watchmaker and may that things are not so important for the life time of the movement but i think they left the others clone movments years behind in every way.

The movement on the right in those pics is a VR3135. AFAIK, the VS3135 is no longer being made as VSF no longer exists. Surely there are fake VS3135s being made by some factories, and some that I've seen on Ali Express. But I don't believe these are the same as an original VS3135 in an original VSF rep when they were still being made.

I installed a genuine balance and bridge in a VS3135 a few days ago and it runs perfectly. No VR or any other clone movements that I know of (except 4130) can accept genuine rolex balance. This indicates that the movement is the closest one to gen 3135. However, the gen balance did not work on another VS3135 I have and I can't explain why. I also installed a refurbished gen rotor and auto wind module.

oascom has said that the reversing wheels in the VS3135 are prone to failure and he suggests swapping them out to gen or VR reversing wheels (correct me if I'm wrong bro).

KJ: I obtained some VS3135s that are un-engraved. They are definitely VS but I was advised stocks are limited so I guess they're unengraved pre-raid leftovers. If engravings are not important then these should satisfy someone wanting a VS3135.

Good points KJ. Also, I'm not entirely sure whether the increasingly widely reported problems with VS movements are happening in the 3135 or the 3235?

I can't speak for reliability or longevity, but I can tell you that the amplitude is noticeably higher on the VS3135 compared to the VR3135. Generally speaking watchmakers consider higher amplitude a good sign, but at the end of the day if it keeps good time and is reliable, that's all the counts. The VS3135 amplitude is pretty much the same as a gen 3135 in dial-up position. In other positions the gen wins because its tolerances are much tighter.

Yes it’s true that about reversing wheels but non of them yet fail they just seems lower quality that it should

Whether it's "better" depends on your view. In some ways it's better and in other ways it's not.

The true clone VS3235 did exist for awhile, but it's out of production and has been replaced with a hybrid VR movement that's a 3135 but has some 3235 features including the ability to accept a gen 126xxx dial which has no dial feet.

i got 3235 and 3135 vsfs post raid... i found that 3235 is more accurate.. 3135 is gaining 20 seconds daily.... need to have it inspected.

Presumably the movement manufacturer (Dandong) had to stop manufacturing 3235 because it's a new movement with a dozen active patents. The 3135 patents have long expired.
