I have not seen any newer version of VSF submariner releases over the past 1 year.
The thread was started just to know if the factory has recently developed a newer version which I might have missed.

No they haven't, they don't release a new version every year. In any case if you order from a TD you will get the latest one available

get one now, then get another one in a few years. Factories don't do significant upgrades in short time periods anyways.
